Habakkuk - The Pathway to Praise
Andrew Baker

Habakkuk finishes by declaring the praises of his God. To often our sorrows become a pool to wallow in rather than a pathway that leads to praise. Sorrow and disappointment becomes an end in itself, rather than a means to an end. That end being a fresh encounter with the living God. Join us as we discover how Habakkuk finishes his journey and uncovers this 'pathway to praise'.

How To Be Great
Kathryn Hartley

Mark10:35-44 Most of us would like to live more than a mediocre life, but how do we live great life? In Mark 10 we read an account of Jesus addressing this very issue with His disciples. In an upside down Kingdom where firsts are last and lasts first, and up is down and down up, Jesus reveals greatness is the Kingdom is measured by servanthood. So what does it mean to be a servant? It is completely possible to do all the christian activities and not be servant hearted because at its core serving as a Christian is a heart issue more than a doing issue. It is worth taking time to examine our hearts and our motives in order that we might seek after God’s heart and represent Him well as His servant hearted Kids.

Habakkuk - True Faith
Andrew Baker

Framed within the discourse of justice and sovereignty a picture emerges of a faithful life lived in faithless times. Habakkuk quickly realises that the near future would lack visibly manifest reasons to believe, leaving only faith in God’s promise. This promise would become a refuge, when it appeared that every other means of refuge would be removed. Join us as we discover this picture of true faith, built not upon temporary pleasures, but drawing strength from the permanent promise of the living God.
