Psalm 119:89,105 — The world we live in is prone to constant change. To what then, are we to ground and establish ourselves? Nothing less than the powerful, everlasting, immovable, unshakeable Word of God. Filled with more than 6,000 promises, His Word to us establishes every area of our lives as we anchor ourselves to it. And as we do so, we too will find ourselves continually saying: “God said it, I believe it, that settles it!”

More Than Just a Happy Ending

Matthew 28:1-10; Revelation 21:1-5 — As those living ‘Post-Easter’, it is easy to view Jesus’ resurrection as the happy ending that simply resolved the horror of The Cross. But, viewed rightly, The Resurrection is much more like a new beginning, pointing us with confident hope to God’s ultimate and eternal redemption of all creation.

The Great Exchange at Calvary

Isaiah 53:3-6; Luke 23:1-49 — On the very first Good Friday, the perfect Son of God was mocked, scorned, and executed without charge. But as Isaiah’s prophecy proclaims, Jesus’ crucifixion served an everlasting purpose: Our sin, for His innocence. Our condemnation, for His forgiveness. Our rejection, for His acceptance. Our death for His eternal life. Once, for all, Jesus made The Great Exchange at Calvary.

Romans 12:15-16 — More than ever, the world is desperately in need of connection. And a united, Jesus-centred Church should be at the forefront of filling this need. As the Apostle Paul instructs in his letter to the Romans, we as Christians are called to interact with all people: to be Jesus’ hands and feet as we open our hearts to feel what others feel.

Hear from Steve and Ros Lazar as they share on the power of connection over their 20+ years of international mission.

The Generosity of God

View all sermons by Adam Ritchard

Romans 5:1-11 — The generosity of God is proclaimed right throughout scripture, but nowhere more so than at The Cross. As Paul’s letter to the Romans reminds us, Christ died for us while we were still sinful and powerless to change; redeeming our past, present, and future by His peace, grace, and hope. Whether through trial or ease, such an indescribable gift should fill us with infectious gratitude, and a constant awareness of His generous provision in every area of life.
